SERERE: APAADA FACES AGWELE

APAADA: AN EMERGING CAMPAIGNING SIGN DUBBED POLITICAL SLOGAN IN SERERE, EASTERN UGANDA

As earlier on used as a sign for NRM primaries elections against Agwele Iseera turned Toto Ngesi Toto, the incumbent WMP.  The massive supporters of Acom Esther Lucy an aspirant in the district race for woman member of parliament under NRM ticket vow in persistence to defend their slogan, a believed stance to target the flying pigeon as self-proclaimed by the incumbent.

Many have crippled to understand why the incumbent has transformed from “ADOL DO ONI APOL” to “AGWELE ISEERA” and now to “TOTO NGESI TOTO”. To some, this is perceived as a fall off from the then expected 'development for all' agenda to a self-need for worship and respect at the expense of equal and fair legit representation.

Some political observers have anticipated a wake-up call for Adoa given the intense support gained by Acom to fasten the front for better representation, others see it that Adoa may take advantage of enriching herself first if given chance again with tension that things may not work out for her in the coming future seeing "ADOL DO ONI APOL" being replaced "TOTO NGESI TOTO”

ACOM ENJOYS PUBLIC PRAYERS

The activation of Apaada season two in real time signifies the love, hope, energy and prayer for Acom to lead them. This communicates the people's will and freedom of choice and support for their preferred candidate.

The race still remains stiff as people are now focused to delivering Acom to the final victory not only having the NRM flag, they believe time for change has knocked the district.

It is highly at the will of the people that their prayers have faith for the greater Serere. It should also be                remembered that the petition filed by Acom challenging the victory of Hon. Min Adoa is still in waiting, crowds in both camps are impatiently eager to know the result.
